      Lovely walk along the coast path in glorious, calm sunny weather.

      2 Snow Buntings seen c11:00 about 100m N of the Abbey. A further 3 birds were about another 100m further on. One of the 3 had plenty of white on the underparts looking like a 1w male. Whilst enjoying these a group of 12 Twite flew N over us.

      After about 5 minutes the group of 3 were ‘harassed’ by 2 Meadow Pipit and eventually took off heading S for some distance.

      3 earlier birders had failed to connect. So just shows even these ‘tame’ birds can be elusive.
