      Highlights of a dawn raid:

      Black-tailed Godwit 250 N over Lighthouse Cottage
      Curlew 230 SD429534 with 150 Teal
      Meadow Pipit 38 stubble fields where just 3 Skylarks
      Greenfinch 30 near Crook Farm
      Twite 28 near abbey
      Short-eared Owl 2 (one maize stubble at SD436538, one Plover Scar)
      Stonechat 1
      Little Owl 1 on abbey
      Kestrel 1

      Bank Houses

      Greenfinch 15
      Tree Sparrow 12
      Meadow Pipit 5
      Song Thrush 3
      Fieldfare 2
      Goldcrest 1
      Rock Pipit 1

      Whooper Swans

      8 SD434548 + 7 on maize field SD436538 + 14 Moss Lane flood SD455538 only.

      95 Wigeon at latter site.
