Very quiet (and very dry!) on our local fells on Saturday morning.
Out over Clougha and Grit Fell to the W trig pillar on Ward’s Stone. Back via the N flank of the fell.
Nice view of Roe Deer doe & fawn just over the wall from the duck boards.
Kestrel hunting just N of Clougha summit.
Group of 5 Curlew N flank of Clougha, plus another alarm calling overhead, so presumably still with young.
3 Stonechat N flank of Clougha, plus another just above Rigg Lane car park.
Other than that, just a handful of Meadow Pipit and Grouse on the fell tops and the occasional LBB Gull drifting over from the breeding colony.
