0800-1030:
Lovely morning to be up on the moor. Swallows and Meadow Pipits were moving through in small gangs throughout the watch with most just over head height (at the last layby on the way up to the wind turbines which is 220m or 720 feet as we should probably say in post Brexit measurements) and others up to 985ft above sea level (300m if you’re still using metric).
