Heard singing during my WeBS count today:
Chiffchaff 4 (SD46Q, SD46R x2 & SD46S)
Willow Warbler 1 (Q)
Blackcap 2 (Q & R)
Goldcrest 1 (Q)
Also singing in both Q and R: Blackbird, Dunnock, Robin, Wren, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Chaffinch (R only), Greenfinch and Goldfinch (R only)
Pair of LTTs foraging together under the motorway bridge (Q). Seemed to be mesmerised by the reflection of the canal on the underside of the bridge as they kept butting up against it.
Also a Long-tailed Tit with nesting material by the canal in the Northwest corner of SD46V, and the longstanding Mute Swan nest in SD46W.
