Another male Blackcap feeding on sunflower hearts in my Silverdale garden kicks off the New Year.
Female Blackcap briefly feeding on fatballs this morning (LA1 5QD)
Female blackcap visited sunflower kernel feeder late yesterday afternoon, and twice again this morning (LA1 5QD)
Female Blackcap has visited garden two or three times a day, every day, since last post. Has taken to sitting in the bush by the sunflower kernel feeder and chasing off the blue tits (though leaves the great tits). Two Jay’s visit every day also.
