The black redstart was near the blue house on Sandylands at 11.10am. There was no sign when I’d passed by 15 minutes earlier; the bird flew in at height from behind me (from south) as I walked back and landed on the house two doors up from the blue house before dropping into the gardens & showing well.
The drake common scoter was still off the Jetty with 106 eider & 2 mergansers.
