A late afternoon walk along the sea wall from Bank Houses east towards Bank End Farm produced 3 Clouded Yellow along the inner edge of the salt-marsh below the sea wall.
Other butterflies included: c.40 Small White, 5 Large White, 10 Red Admiral, c.20 Small Tortiseshell, 6 Painted Lady, 5 Common Blue and 1 Speckled Wood.
At least 16 Mediterranean Gull (10 adults, 2 2nd summer, 2 juveniles) among the Black-headed Gulls roosting in the Cocker Channel on the falling tide.
