Yesterday had a juv Willow Warbler passing through and flying catching, Spot Fly style, at Meadow View, Brookhouse SD541 642.
As expected insects were in good numbers with a teneral Common Darter and 9 species of butterfly including my first Purple Hairstreak of the season. Good to see Small Skippers have re-appeared in numbers on the site after a blank in 2020.
