At 08.45 this morning 2 Knot with approximately 150 Black-tailed Godwits in the flooded field at the bottom of Aldcliffe Hall Lane (A14) SD461602

On 5/3 at SD457576 a Woodcock flew from the direction of the Ashton Hall golf course/wood and briefly flew parallel to the cycle path.

Nice. I think Knot might be a new species for The Flood list. Any thoughts, Jon?

Hmm… certainly seen knot on the Wildfowlers’ Pools, not sure about the Flood itself. I’ll have a peek at my notebooks!
