Tufted duck – recently hatched brood on Freeman’s Pool. Singing reed warbler there.
Green sandpiper – 1 on Frog Pond
Med gull – 1 ad on Lune at Stodday & another anting at Glassson
Shelduck – 3 fledged broods seen along the Lune
Greenshank, 12 common sandpipers & kingfisher on Conder
Good no’s of fledged com terns at Conder Pool along with fledged avocet and 3 young avocet chicks.
Singing lesser whitethroat, com whitethroat, blackcaps, chiffchaffs etc along the cycle track.
