      In between dodging several hail showers, the following highlights were noted from a couple of hours on the estuary mid morning – noon.

      Merlin: Aldcliffe Marsh
      Grey wagtail: 2 colour-ringed birds at Stodday
      Goldeneye: 7 on Freeman’s Pools & 3 on Wildfowlers’ Pools
      c10 dunlin amongst good no’s of redshank on Wildfowlers’ Pools
