Yesterday 1700hrs approx disturbed at least 100 party of Fieldfare on our walk to Newclose (Dalton Estate), they lifted off the banking into the tops of the high trees which form the entrance to the Dalton Hall Park Woodlands. On our return 30 minutes later there were no signs in any of the local fields. Had seen singles or small numbers in mid April but nothing like this before.
