A pleasant walk along the river. Highlights included 2 Redwing in the scrub beyond the ECO Housing, party of 6 Raven flying up the valley, 3 Kingfisher, 2 Dipper and 2+late Sand Martins at Halton.

Insect wise, 8 Red Admiral most purposefully migrating, 1 Small Tort feeding on Ivy on the pipe bridge, single Speckled Wood, 2 Small Whites and a Silver Y.
