      With strong winds, cloud and occasional showers it felt like April rather than August.

      The 2.5 hour walk produced very little. Highlights included 1 Wheatear, 2 Stonechat, 2 Mistle Thrush, 1 Kestrel and a juv. Buzzard. 9 Stock Dove were notable near a known breeding barn. 1 Meadow Brown was hanging onto the short grass for dear life!
