Found by Malcolm Downham at Heysham outer harbour this morning (Ibis probably seen yesterday). Ibis also seen late afternoon by two of us traversing the Overton road heading from the Imperial road direction towards Middleton NR where it was seen again flying SW. Worth tomorrow checking Imperial road wetland and wet stuff immediately on north side of bypass by Imperial road roundabout? Both these records photographed today

Med Gulls have been rather scarce and elusive in recent winters. I cant find any records other than John Wood’s Glasson basin adult on 5 Dec. So please do flag up any records thanks

The Ibis was feeding in a flooded field yesterday, just outside Middleton village.

The ibis was there again this morning. Viewed from the car park behind the Parish Hall.
