      Today, 8th March around midday

      So lucky, so much activity, seemingly increased by regular visits by tractors/contraptions. So much to see out there!!

      Frog pond:
      Counted 70 Godwits, black tailed,we got to see them fly over, then in and around pond (also seen yesterday)
      2 bean geese? Got a good look and they had orangey legs and on beak. Dark beak base Dark brown head and neck. Severe looking dark eyes and around eyes. Short necks.
      3 greylag geese
      36 Canada geese
      12 mute swans (1 juv)
      1 oystercatcher (+1 field opposite)

      Fields opposite frog pond:
      Godwits abovementioned had been feeding here before they flew over the path
      2-3 hundred starlings feeding
      300+ black headed gulls feeding
      Dozens of crows feeding
      Few lapwing feeding

      Wildfowlers pools:
      1 snipe (hiding in grass mid nxt field)
      1 great white egret
      1 heron
      13 wigeon
      11 mallard

      Freemans pond:
      4m 3f tufted duck
      1m 1f Goldeneye
      1 little grebe
      Few dozen black headed gulls
      1 coot
      1 moorhen
