      Leighton Moss – The Yellow-browed Warbler showed well near the bench close to the start of the path to Lower Hide at the eastern end of the Causeway. Also: 3 Cetti’s Warbler calling along the Causeway.

      Level crossing / Crag Foot area – 605 Greylag Geese, 1 Canada Goose in roadside fields

      Barrow Scout Fields – 1 Great Egret Egret

      Warton Mires – No sign of the group of 4 European White-fronted Geese

      Pine Lake – 85 Tufted Duck, 30 Pochard, 5 female Goldeneye, 4 Great Crested Grebe, 12 Cormorant

      Jeremy Lane, Glasson Dock – No sign of the 2 adult Bewick’s Swan seen earlier in the morning by Ian Hartley. A group of 85 swans, mostly Mute Swan, but including at least 18 Whooper Swan.

      Tomlinson’s Farm, Moss Lane – 9 Whooper Swan

      Moss Lane – 2 adult Bewick’s Swan and 11 Whooper Swan in field north of road just before junction with Slack Lane.
