Checks of the limestone boulder groynes between the Stone Jetty and Teal Bay on the morning high tide produced:
Stone Jetty groyne – 30 Turnstone
Stathmore groyne – 25 Turnstone
Seaborn groyne – 32 Turnstone, 17 Ringed Plover
Scalestone Point groyne – 1 colour-ringed Lapwing (details sent to Richard Du Feu)
Teal Bay – 1 Purple Sandpiper roosting on mud with Redshank by northern end of seaweed covered groyne, then walked around far side of groyne out of sight
85 Bar-tailed Godwit roosting on foreshore
Pine Lake – 1 juvenile Scaup, 112 Tufted Duck, 14 Pochard, 6 Goldeneye, 5 Great Crested Grebe, 1 adult Mediterranean Gull
