      I walked down the “lower” path at Brigsteer yesterday, 16/7/22 (the one just up from Cotes village) and had good views of a couple of Silver-washed Fritillaries, plus a male Emperor dragonfly which was sitting in a tree.

      Tried to attach photos here but the post kept somehow disappearing (maybe too big, I’m doing it from my phone)
      Anyway, here’s a link to have a look at my rubbish record shots (the frits wouldn’t settle for more than a few seconds!).
