      Birdlife here has increased this week.
      Today 1 redwing, 1 mistle thrush, 1 song thrush, 1 bullfinch, 6 greenfinch, 1 nuthatch, 7 long-tailed tits, usual 2 jays.
      Yesterday 2 nuthatch, 1 treecreeper

      Numbers of blackbirds varying – max yesterday 19.
      Mallards have returned after an absence since 16 December but numbers remain small at 5 to 18.

      32 species in the park this year so far.

      Someone has put up a lot of new small feeders. Today there were 18 feral pigeons.

          One redwing again yesterday afternoon (20th) – new feeding area (backing on the golf club house) seems to be the attraction.JB
