Checked the east side of the Lune estuary for spring tide pipits from Glasson bowling green to Marsh Point which resulted in:

Rock Pipit 34 (including PC’s birds– best feeding flock half way down Stodday Marsh SD458583)
Meadow Pipit 4
Water Pipit 2 (SD456562 and PC’s bird at SD459598)

Pleasant bycatch included:

Wigeon 1000 mainly mouth of Conder SD454564
Teal 380 mainly Conder creek SD456558
Green Sandpiper 2 Stodday Sewage Works (ASC3)
Mediterranean Gull 3 Glasson (two adults and a 3CY).
Great White Egret 1 Wildfowlers Pools N (A4S) then flew south to delight birders at pipit corner /snipe bog.
