      Female or 1st winter Black redstart on Grosvenor breakwater, near Grosvenor Road. Also rock pipit

        Overthe course of 20 minutes it worked its way all the way along the breakwater and then flew back to the promenade rocks by Craig Street

          Still present in the same area 13:45, moving between the rocks and adjacent gardens

            As noted by PJM and others, still around today near the blue house. When I saw it, around 1335, it was on the rocks, where I managed to phone-scope this picture

              Not a surprise at all to find the black redstart still in the same area of Sandylands near the blue house about 11.05 this morning. Mostly using the gardens today. Don’t be put off by “no sign today” messages! It’s elusive and can easily go out of sight in the gardens or rocks but will surely remain all winter unless we get a spell of hard weather.

              Also rock pipit again in the same area
