Hi Alasdair– I came down to distribute society seed at the LDBWS feeding station (A10) later in the morning:

Chaffinch 19 (mostly using tables- thanks Alan)
Stock Dove 7 (two in lower mown area, five in upper mown area)
Skylark 3 (in upper mown area. Plan worked– thanks Eddy)
Reed Bunting 2 (4 degrees celsius, frost)

Saw your Linnet flock, also the your pinks and Curlews in A7!

        2 Red-legged Partridge in Fairfield NR’s ‘West Field’ (A8).
