Male Broad-bodied Chaser patrolling the new FAUNA pools by Aldcliffe Road.
Several blue damselflies in the reeds, too distant to confirm species.

Also large red damselflies at Leighton Moss – and of course hobby sightings are becoming increasingly frequent as more odonata emerges!

Single male BB Chaser seen in overcast muggy weather today at the relatively new ponds created by the Lune Aqueduct. Well worth a visit for Odonata on a sunny day away from the usual hot spots!

              Cheers
