      JBP 9.50 – 12.45: 11 cormorant, 1 little egret, c440 pinkfeet, 7 shelduck, 33 wigeon, 2 mallard, 2 pintail, 22 eider, 4 rbm, 2 goosander, 104 oystercatcher, 1 lapwing, 12 dunlin, 100 curlew, 8 redshank. Some movement of small passerines offshore, but too far out to id except a few pied wagtails.

      Other local walks in last week: c 200 black-tailed godwits in field south of Carr Bank on 8th; 10 fieldfare Silverdale Golf Course on 9th + 2 single redwing between LM Causeway and Leighton Hall; hawfinch Coldwell Meadows and woodcock Gait Barrows on 12th; 5 song thrushes spread out along Lindeth Rd Silverdale on 14th. Regular pair of stock doves Jack Scout area, and regular yaffling heard around S. Silverdale.
