The 2 albifrons white-fronted geese were present again this morning, feeding with pink-footed and greylag geese in Frog Pond field.
Also the thaw at the Flood and Wildlfowers’ Pools resulted in a small increase in birds present; 18 dunlin with the redshank, shovelers, teal, water rail & kingfisher, etc.
Freeman’s Pools still iced over.
