One male blackcap in the orchard of Happy Mount Park mid-morning today.

Tit flock seems to be a bit dispersed into smaller groups. One group had 5 long-tailed tits, 3 blue tits, 2 great tits, 2 coal tits, 2 goldfinch and a chaffinch. There was another group hanging round the feeding area at the Japanese garden – again 2 coal tits, several blue and greats.

Robins and blackbirds have ben abundant in the Park for a few weeks now, but today we suddenly had 4 song thrushes. Also 2 jays still present.
