Had a Juv Wood Sand on this flash (I referred to it as Lupton beck flash) in Sept 2019.

Picture taken from Crag Road viewpoint. Heavily cropped hence the fuzziness!

Wood Sand still present this morning (Sunday) but can be elusive at times, also F type looking ‘Greenland’ Wheatear with a paler male. And M Whinchat.

Whilst I admit its not the prize it used to be, has this bird fallen off the grid, before it’s hardly had chance to get on it.
Has Covid restrictions resulted in this bird being off limits as it doesn’t seem to being reported (I informed Birdguides as still present at half one this afternoon but wasn’t put out) or even discussed.

It showed quite well after lunch to the left of the island (viewed from fence running parallel with footpath/River) but was quite mobile and did quite a tour for the hour I was there. The bird seems to be almost in full summer, give or take a little tidying up.

2 Cettis calling near the bridge.

Great white Egret: 2 on Barrow scout, 1 flying South west over the Railway and a Single on Black dyke, Arnside.

I think the advice is that viewing is only done from the grassy area by the entrance roundabout.

No, road still closed. I parked by the red bins pulled across the road and walked the few yards to the shore. Ring necked easily visible from there
