      Sorry not to stop and say hello Andrew…it’s always manic trying to count the birds from the point to potts corner as the tides push in. Lovely and clear to see them yesterday ! I couldn’t find the Twite yesterday so great to know they are around.

        2 Greenshanks in channel
        several pairs of Lapwing Curlew and Oystercatcher either mating or ‘sitting’ on saltmarsh

          Cettis Warbler singing briefly yesterday from the railway bridge (Pye Lane) thickets yesterday . Not heard them here before so not sure if ‘new in’

                      There was no overlap – always looked for and tends to occur more on the 10M plus tides.

                        Great you got to do this Alan as I was running about a bit trying to count East and West of the peninsula in case you couldn’t do the WEBS…you got more Godwits than me on the Lades side….they seemed very flighty…. Lots of waders in fields Today.

                        On the Middleton Sands side for the WEBS…(plus some more Jan survey stuff ‘highlights’)
