A588, Upper Thurnham (SD 459 541) – c.2000 Pink-footed Geese in field west of layby, but no other species appeared to be among them.
A588, Braides – Sand Villa (SD 443 514 – SD 436 508) – 105 Whooper Swan spread across field north of road.
A588, Mill House Bridge (SD432 503) – 1 adult Tundra Bean Goose, 1 adult Lesser White-fronted Goose (‘of unknown origin’) and 1 Barnacle Goose among c.3000 (?) Pink-footed Geese north of road. 1 Chiffchaff singing by Mill House.
Gulf Lane, Cockerham Moss (SD 450 502) – 28 Whooper Swan in field north of road
Hillham Lane, Cockerham (SD 456 529) – 51 Whooper Swan in field south of road
Moss Lane, Thurnham (SD 442 536) – 175 Whooper Swan in field west of Thursland Hill
Slack Lane, Cockersands (SD 434 543) – 41 Whooper Swan in field north of Moss Lane & east of Slack Lane
Bank Houses, Cockersands (SD 435 532) – 108 Whooper Swan in fields north of caravan park
Lighthouse Cottage, Cockersands (SD 430 542) – 1 male Wheatear in stubble field south of parking area and 1 Raven.
Crook Cottage (SD 434 548) – c.2500 Pink-footed Geese (counted by Ian Hartley), but nothing else among them (while I was there at least)

Jeremy Lane, Glasson Dock (SD 446 549) – 104 Whooper Swan
A total of 612 Whooper Swan, but I couldn’t find any Bewick’s Swan.
