      Pine Lake – 1 male Pochard, 3 Great Crested Grebe
      80 Black-tailed Godwit in field to east of lake

      Eric Morecambe Pools – 15 Avocet, 165 Black-tailed Godwit on The Flood
      2 adult Whooper Swan – on The Flood
      1 Great White Egret – near The Flood
      1 male Pochard – Allen Pool
      c.700 Pink-footed Geese – spread across outer edge of Carnforth Marsh

      Crag Foot – 110 Greylag Geese, including orange neck-collar PSI – ringed at Rayrigg Hall, Windermere in 2014 and wandering the south Cumbria / north Lancashire area ever since!

      Lilian’s Pool, Leighton Moss (from the Skytower) – Female Ring-necked Duck
      8 Pochard (5 males, 3 females)
      3 Marsh Harrier (1 male, 2 females)

      Holmere (by A6) – 100 Wigeon, 15 Shoveler, 6 Gadwall, 16 Tufted Duck, 18 Black-tailed Godwit

      Scale House Farm, Conder Green Road – Mixed flock of c.2000 Black-headed and Common Gulls on slurry covered fields, but no Mediterranean Gulls among them.

      Conder Pool – 14 Avocet, 95 Black-tailed Godwit

      Moss Lane, Thurnham – 535 Whooper Swan in various fields north and south of the road between Clarkson’s Farm and Bamber’s Farm
      2 adult Bewick’s Swan – in field opposite Bamber’s Farm

      Upper Thurnham, west of A588 between Moss Lane and Boundary House Farm
      8400 Pink-footed Geese (Paul Ellis & Paul Slade’s count, Fylde Bird Club website) – spread across several fields , including grey neck-collar VNU.
      4 adult Russian White-fronted Geese – two pairs of adults in different part of the Pink-feet flock
      2 Barnacle Geese
      (Also: 1 Tundra Bean Goose and 1 Lesser White-fronted Goose seen earlier by Paul Ellis, Paul Slade, Ian Hartley, Shaun Coyle et al)
      1 1st winter Marsh Harrier
      1 male Merlin – perched in tree top towards Moss Lane from A588 layby

      Heronswood Canine Retreat, south of Ashton Hall – 2 Cattle Egret (Shaun saw 3 Cattle Egret earlier in the morning)
