58 Cormorant including 2 with colour-rings. Both codes were read but I would like to see them again to be 100% certain.

Arnside Knott – A respectable 11 species of butterfly, including 1 Painted Lady, 3 Scotch Argus, 2 Wall Brown (mating), 6 Meadow Brown and 14 Gatekeeper. Also: Small Skipper, Small White, Small Tortoiseshell, Red Admiral, Speckled Wood and Common Blue.
! Tree Pipit flew over calling.
Another observer had good views of a Brown Hairstreak which have now been seen here annually since 2020.
