Female Southern Hawker in my Torrisholme garden having a look at the small pond this afternoon. Quite early in the season? Also female Broad bodied Chaser in the flower borders again.

Don't know how close you are to Torrisholme cricket club but the bypass attenuation pond has attracted quite a lot of insect life. Worth a check if anyone's cycling past.

I'm very close and visit the attenuation pool and the Folly Lane scrape very regularly. I've been watching the dragonflies (at least Emperors and Broad bodied Chasers) plus damselflies on both pools ovipositing lately so hopefully there will be an established population in a year or so.
