Barbondale path closure

Barbondale path closure
March 22, 2019 07:37PM
There is a serious amount of tree felling at Barbondale at the moment. This is to try and halt the spread of the Ramorum disease which affects larch. The work is planned to continue until August this year. Very noisy heavy machinery in operation. Not sure how much of a detrimental effect this will have on the birds returning to breed this year. Certainly bluebell spotters will be disappointed.
