I can help with the Heysham area and other north of the Lune sites (or can be on the end of the phone to help) but I'm not going down to the recommended start point which is Pilling Lane Ends for the early morning high tide (assume you can get there 9ish?) and some goose field trawling
Suggested itinerary but the detail depends on weather and any 'stake outs'. Assume this is a trip with mainly coastal or near coastal emphasis. Extrapolating the tides from 2017 table suggests a 'low spring' HT around 9ish??
a) Pilling Lane Ends car park (via J33/A6 south/right turn to Cockerham/A588)
b) Goose fields based on info nearer the time
c) Scan over Lune estuary from Glasson (via Jeremy Lane) & Conder pool/creeks on dropping tide
d) Cross Lune via Lancaster and take recently uncovered tidal road to Sunderland Point. Loo stop
e) Heysham north wall (bread med/scan offshore etc) (Chough? :-)). Loo stop/coffee break half moon bay cafe
f) Morecambe stone jetty of weather suitable
g) Pine Lake eg if frosty - major displacement site
h) Finish at selected Leighton Moss venues, depending on frost etc. Stay for eg egret roost which should miss the M6 traffic jams!
