Swift grounded by sparrows

Swift grounded by sparrows

This afternoon I watched two male house sparrows attack a swift under the eaves of a house on Bowerham Road. The sparrows 'wrestled' it to the ground where it was then unable to fly. I tossed it into the air and it then flew off apparently unharmed.
