Borwick Waters (ex-Dockacres)

Posted by Pete Marsh
This is the "Dockacres" to many people.

I'm limited as to what I feel able to say on a public forum but would people visiting this site please be vigilant and if there is ANY sign of interference with the small BHG colony on the equally small island please try and get a 'digi' or ordinary photo & let
me have a copy. Similarly any attempt to destroy lakeside nests.

It looks like the angling agreement with British Waterways has collapsed and it is back in the hands/whims of the owner. This leaves a rather uncertain and easily exploitable scenario as to how this affects the planning agreement.

Nothing of interest seen on the pits this evening (no sign of Little Gulls)

Pete
