Highlights from Aldcliffe this morning/early afternoon included the hard-to-miss little egret plus a flock of 36 twite on the tideline. Another 2 twite were with 10 linnet near the 'sluiced channel'.
16 pinkfeet were on Colloway including 2 neck-collared birds but they were far too distant to read. Interestingly there was an 'out-of-town' mute swan on the marsh (ring details will be passed on).
