Heysham 2 outfall
At least 4 1st W and 2 adult Little Gulls reported from here today. Park along Moneyclose Lane, near the tall anemometer and access via the Nature Park stile across the road. Follow the path to the shore. This route involves two right angled turns (see Cleese 1970ish). This route avoids entering Ocean Edge property.

Kearstwick (road due north of Kirkby Lonsdale en route to Old Town etc)
Single Waxwing in roadside tree at lunchtime - perhaps one of the Kirkby Lonsdale birds. Did not have time to search for more or the food source

Thanks go to Pete Crooks for today's header photo of Aldcliffe. If you have a suitable picture of a local birding spot, why not send it to the webmaster, at andymccafferty@gmail.com? I need to resize (and if necessary crop) pictures to make them 600x130 pixels, so ideally send it at that size (definitely not smaller).
