Lovely clarity and a high tide resulting in plenty of waders...gradually pushed up towards Potts Corner.

4670 Oystercatchers
5680 Dunlin
8600 Knot
1050 Curlew
281 Redshank
8 Turnstone
33 Ringed Plover
212 Grey Plover
14 Snipe
375 Black Tailed Godwits
960 Bar Tailed Godwits
172 Wigeon
144 Shelduck
2 Teal
18 Cormorant
11 Little Egret
3 Coot
1 Moorhen

Too much concentration on the waders (and numbers !) to focus on real bush bashing but a few passerines around the point:

Stonechat - male
Blackcap - male
5 Goldcrest
11 Twite
4 Linnet
18 Meadow Pipit
3 Grey Wagtail
Skylarks - at least 3 overhead
2 Reed Bunting

Elsewhere...

320 Redwing, 5 Goldcrest - Arnside Knott

5 Whooper Swan & 1 Stonechat - Lyth Valley

Oh for more time !!! :-)
