Coal Tits
Getting several reports of good numbers at feeders. They exceeded Blue Tits at Leighton feeders by 4 to 1. In a short ringing session today near Beetham we caught 9 Coal Tits and only one Blue Tit but also a Blackcap

The irruptive coal tit movement evident in small doses in September seems to have ceased in this area
