10.00 Sparrowhawk chasing meadow pipits, flying incredibly close to road surface just past Jubilee Tower.

10.20- 14.00 Stoops Bridge along Tanbrook Wyre: 2 grey heron, 2 grey wagtail, 1 dipper, 1 stock dove, red admirals moving

13.45 Over Abbeystead House 5+ swallows, 2+ house martins, apparently in one group heading south but varying in height enormously - house martins only visible in binoculars, swallows down to tree tops.

14.20 Jubilee Tower - kestrel, 2 red grouse
