Heysham Head (from St Peter's Church) - A two-hour sea-watch (0855 - 1055) produced 3 seabirds - a Leach's Petrel initially close inshore then drifted further out as it headed SW at 9.25, plus 1 adult Gannet and 1 Manx Shearwater.

Waders roosting in Heysham Village Bay included 100 Turnstone, 55 Ringed Plover and 1 Bar-tailed Godwit. Also 1 Great Crested Grebe offshore.

A third Leach's past the heysham head at 1110. A probable black throated diver seen by a different observer fly south then land near yellow buoys at 1254hrs
