Lathwaite Flood Curlew Sandpipers

Up to nineteen juv. Curlew Sandpipers (also several Ruff and a Garganey) at a flood SD471 495 (about two miles S of Cockerham) this morning.

This spot has been pulling in the birds in recent days, but I'm told visitors have also been incurring the wrath of the local farmer (parked cars blocking access points etc.)
