The local WhatsApp alert has been going beserk this afternoon with a massive early influx, all seemingly after 1220hrs. Please add further sightings on this thread. Thanks

At least 560 south over our area between 1220 and 1400

Single skein of 40 in over Arnside around mid day.

Great sound but so early.

13 south over Abraham Heights, Lancaster at 1.25 pm

52 south over Conder Green at 2.00 pm

61 south over Conder Green at 2.30 pm

17 SW over Conder Green at 2.45 pm.

830 PG S or SW over Cockersands / Glasson between 1205 and 1530. Average skein c50 birds.

One skein was panicked by Black Knights skydivers and deviated W out to sea.

A lot of the earlier skeins seemed to tally well with what observers in Lancaster were putting on WhatsApp. Was fun while it lasted!

More noted S offshore (e.g. W of Sunderland Point) but not jotted down-- hope these were counted too.

I couldn't be 100% certain but several of us thought the 14 over Morecambe and Allen on Friday were pink-footed in a nice tight V.

Three large Skeins reported over Over Kellet around mid day.

Skein heard from Silverdale garden mid-afternoon on 6th.
c120 flying down estuary at 11.30ish this morning (7th)
