Gulls galore

The Lune was thronged with smaller gulls today-- I made it 5500 Black-headed, 600 Common and 6 Mediterranean Gulls looking N from the bowling green area of Glasson just after high tide.

1100 Redshanks, 2000+ Lapwings and 800 Canada Goose here also, mainly on east bank. One adult Common Tern.

A Yellow Wagtail (adult male) dropped in to Conder Pool. 350 Curlews Glasson Marsh.

Six Whimbrel, three Ringed Plover and three Turnstone Crook Scar. Also three Wheatears and a Whinchat nearby
