Three Green Sandpipers, two Black-tailed Godwits and a Whimbrel Aldcliffe.

Juv. plumage Shoveler still by Wildfowler's Pools.

465 Greylags on Aldcliffe marsh South and feeding on barley stubble near Arna Wood. Three with orange-red collars including 'PSN'.

Nine Mediterranean Gulls Basil Point area around high tide. No doubt some of these roosting were part of the late afternoon swarm of gulls over Glasson village-- with 500+ BH gulls. 15+ Meds and 5+ Common Terns wheeling around eating airborne insects.

A Curlew Sandpiper flitted (calling as it went) SW past the mouth of the Conder as the tide began to drop, as when eight Greenshank were seen. Wader variety was boosted by seven Golden Plovers and five Whimbrels flying over Colloway Marsh.

Numbers were provided by Lapwing (3000+) and Dunlin (400+) on dropping tide and 300 Curlews on Colloway marsh at high tide.

Two adult and 14 juv Shelducks near Glasson. Three fem / juv Eiders & a three juv Goosander were floating off Colloway on rising tide.
