Common Tern breeding summary:
There were four breeding pairs that had eggs. Apart from a pair on the pontoon, which now has three well grown young, all the other nests were on the islands and all failed before hatching. There is currently one pair sitting on eggs on an island and another pair scraping on the pontoon - I assume both are/will be relays. All the young gulls have now left the pontoon so there is a bit more space.

Blea Tarn
Great Crested Grebes on third nesting attempt, the previous two left dry as the water level fell, now incubating.
