Cam Brow, Cuckoo flying around hotly persued by Mipits.
Approximately 24 Sand Martin nest holes, the most I have seen here in the last decade, but now at risks from day trippers again.

Stoops Bridge, carpark closed by order of the Abbystead estate, although the road is public.

A mating pair of Spotted Flycatcher collecting nest materials, plus 1, probably 2 more.
A flash of the Kingfisher and Grey Wagtails.
A cuckoo calling from the North sounded reasonably close.

Tower Lodge and adjacent Long Wood, 14th.

2 Cuckoo's calling at the same time, Female Pied Flycatcher entering nest box, and a brief view of a male Redstart.
